Despite pioneering an entire genre of electronic music, playing everywhere from the Venice Biennale to Nyege Nyege and Festival D'Avignon, Jako Maron probably remains the most underrated figure in French electronica, yet belongs to the pantheon of music history with the likes Underground Resistance and the Belleville Three.

His second album - to be released in November 2024 on Nyege Nyege Tapes - is just the surface of hundreds of unreleased tracks that span from ambient to techno.

Known for his downtempo Electro Maloya,  Jako has recently been serving peak time ternary madness that have left dancers rethink the very foundation of western electronics. Highlight of 2024 Garage Fest! Live and occasional dj sets.
